Purify oily, acne-prone skin with this gentle, astringent tea tree oil facial wash. This homemade facial cleanser recipe really gets rid of deep-down dirt and bacteria, but it's gentle enough for daily use.
Homemade facial cleansers are great because you control what's in them - with only natural, healthy ingredients they don't irritate or strip your skin - and they don't poison you! Gotta love that!
The recipe includes lemongrass and petitgrain to help reduce oil production, plus aloe vera and vegetable glycerin to repair skin and soften blemishes.

I personally buy all my essential oils from dōTERRA because they're the best I've ever used. They don't supply other aromatherapy recipe ingredients however.
I found myself using fewer drops per recipe and actually getting better results. Plus, I've never had a bad reaction, which sometimes happens with other brands.
doTerra's oils cost more than other brands, and that's as it should be. It's like buying a BMW vs. a Kia - the more expensive car is the better quality vehicle.
If you can afford them, I recommend giving doTerra's oils a try and comparing them for yourself.
You can buy doTerra's oils at retail prices by clicking the Shop button at the top. Or click Join & Save to become a wholesale customer and get a store-wide 25% discount. Message me if you want more details on the wholesale thing - why spend more than you have to, right?
My favorite supplier for other aromatherapy recipe ingredients is Mountain Rose Herbs. Their prices are excellent, their service is great, and their quality is good. Here's some quick links to the ingredients you'll need for making tea tree oil facial wash...
If you have Amazon Prime, you can have all your supplies delivered for free - no shipping costs. I've added links to some of the ingredients for making your tea tree oil facial wash - poke around on Amazon to get anything else you need...
