Make your own sweet, sensual massage oil... perfect for hot oil massage and a nice night in!

Romance is in the air when you use this sensual massage oil recipe for a special night with your partner.

Sweet, spicy and exotic, this is one of the yummiest aphrodisiac massage oil recipes you can make - it warms, opens and relaxes your body and your senses. Ideal for a sensual hot oil massage!

Sandalwood, patchouli and ylang ylang soothe ragged end-of-day nerves and promote relaxed, uplifting euphoric feelings, while ginger warms and softens muscles.

Don't forget the music and candles!

Sugar & Spice Sensual Massage Oil Recipe

8 drops Sandalwood essential oil

3 drops Orange essential oil

2 drops Patchouli essential oil

1 drop Ylang Ylang essential oil

1 drop Ginger essential oil

1/4 cup (60ml) carrier oil of your choice such as apricot kernel oil or jojoba oil

Combine the ingredients in a dark glass or PET plastic bottle. (I recommend using one with an oil or lotion dispenser cap so you don't accidentally pour it all over everything in the excitement of getting a massage.)

Wait at least 24 hours after blending to let the mixture 'cure'. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place. Use within three months.

If you want to make more of this sensual massage oil, depending on the size of the bottle, simply double or triple the recipe. (Remember it tends to go rancid after about three months.)

This recipe is wonderful for hot oil massage. Simply heat the bottle in a jar of hot water and use...

Ginger may irritate sensitive skin, which is why it's at such a low concentration. If you're exceptionally sensitive, leave it out.

Orange may cause photosensitivity and sunburn. Do not use before sun exposure.

Where to Buy Massage Oil Ingredients

I've recommended Mountain Rose as my favorite supplier since starting out on this journey. I always research suppliers for quality, ethics, price and selection, and they're great on all fronts. So I feel good about offering their products to you.

Having said that, I have to share another supplier for essential oils that I personally now use because I've found their quality to be the best. I switched to doTerra after buying a few oils like lavender and tea tree and comparing them in my recipes.

What I found was that they worked faster and more effectively than any other brand I've tried. So I want to offer their oils to you as well. It's always good to have options, don't you think?

Here's how I see it...

Buy from Mountain Rose when you're watching your budget. Also for base ingredients like carrier oils.

Buy from doTerra when quality is your most important factor. You can shop retail by clicking the Shop button at the top. Or click Join & Save to become a wholesale customer and get 25% discount. Message me to learn more about the perks of going wholesale.

Buy from Amazon if you love variety. You can always find deals, and you'll never run out of options.

Just remember that if you pay a low price you're going to get a low quality, especially in the land of essential oils. This is an area where you need to buy the best you can afford, trust me.
