Wicks to use when making soy candles with essential oils

Hi!

I am making soy candles with both fragrance oils and essential oils. My problem is that the wicks I am using for the essential oil candles let off a yucky smell. Doesn't do it with the fragrance oils, and the essential oil melts are fine. I'm confident the wicks I am using are clashing with the essential oils. Any tips??

Hi Carmelina,

I'd say you need to switch wicks. Maybe tell your supplier about the problem and see what they suggest.

I've never had a problem with the wicks clashing with the scent of the essential oils, so I know it's possible to get wicks that work with EO's.
