I have heard that when using essential oils for cleaning that they last longer in a glass spray. Do you or anyone know where I can find some?

I have been looking for these too: BUT! I recently lifted a heavy plastic trigger spray bottle, and dropped it, smashing a hole in the top of the plastic liquid chamber. Rather than throw a full bottle of cleaner away, I decanted the rest into an empty glass mineral water bottle: and was about to put the original lid on when I figured, why not try a plastic spray nozzle on the glass bottle? And it fit perfectly.

I love that idea! I have a ton of hydrosol bottles I've kept around 'cause I felt bad about throwing them out. Now I finally know what to do with them. Thanks - you're a gem!

I must admit that I went to a garden centre and brought a spray bottle to water flowers with.

I also use bottles that I have brought either my base oils or hydrosol/floral waters in, after I have finished them I have washed them out dried them and also sterilised them then used for my cleaning products, works a treat, also cheaper and is helping with recycling.

Excellent question! I have to admit that I use plastic bottles for my essential oil cleaning recipes - mainly because I'm too cheap to pay for glass. One day when I'm rich...

Here's a link I found for a glass bottle supplier. Click on the forward icon on the panel of caps below the bottle and you'll see some spray caps you can order to go with it.

That page shows the 32oz size - they also have a 16oz, which might be better if you don't need a ton of cleaner. I find that making smaller batches more frequently keeps my cleaning recipes fresher.
