What essential oils work well to disguise the smell of unrefined shea butter?

I am making a Body Butter and Lotion Bar using unrefined Shea Butter but am having difficulty disguising the smell of the Shea Butter. I don't want to add too much essential oil as this could be harmful to some people. I have tried rose on its own and ylang ylang essential oils so far.

Shea Butter smell NEW

Lemon oil and Lavender oil excentuate the smell. the only oil that will instantly disuise the smell is sesame oil. Add it first. Mix well and check the smell. Then add your essental oils.
Good luck. :)

Scenting your body butter
by: Kyley

Hi there,

What if you tried a blend of palmarosa, rose geranium and rose. The rose geranium is pretty strong scented, and same with the palmarosa only in a different way.

Or how about ylang ylang and patchouli with 1 drop of clove (don't use clove with sensitive skin though.) Lavender, patchouli and ylang is good too.

Hope that helps, and good luck!
