Rosewood Essential Oil

Cleansing, balancing, healing (a.k.a. bois de rose)

Rosewood essential oil has a beautiful, deep scent that makes every part of you go 'aaah...' It balances the emotions, warming you up and calming you down in the very best way.

Rosewood oil is a very strong cleanser - anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, as well as being an immune system stimulant.

Rosewood is also a powerful skin regenerator and healer, especially good for mature skin types as well as problem skin conditions and scarring.

Its warming, balancing, aphrodisiac properties may help sexual problems such as impotence and frigidity.

Sadly, rosewood has become an endangered species. If you must have it, make sure you buy rosewood essential oil only from suppliers who ethically source their products. I've eliminated rosewood from all my recipes to try to help preserve it. If you want to use it, it makes a great replacement for palmarosa or rose geranium.
