Restoring honey-colored hair

by Tabitha
(Iowa)

My hair is naturally honey-colored. Just like the little bear squeeze bottles of honey. It's going gray and I don't want to use chemicals on it. Does anyone have a recipe for herbal hair rinses or stains that would restore (even temporarily) this color?

The sage and rosemary seems to make brown hair, but my hair has golden highlights through it and is more dark blonde, but not red at all.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks :)

Natural Dye for Blonde Hair
by: Kyley

Hi Tabitha,

It sounds like a calendula, chamomile and lemon herbal rinse would be your best bet. Here's a link to a recipe you could try:

Or try the saffron recipe below it if you're wanting golden tints.

I'd love to get your feedback on whatever you try, since we can always benefit from each other's experience. Thanks, and I hope that helps!

Kyley
