Restoring honey-colored hair

My hair is naturally honey-colored. Just like the little bear squeeze bottles of honey. It's going gray and I don't want to use chemicals on it. Does anyone have a recipe for herbal hair rinses or stains that would restore (even temporarily) this color?

The sage and rosemary seems to make brown hair, but my hair has golden highlights through it and is more dark blonde, but not red at all.
