Palmarosa Essential Oil
Sweet, cheerful, antidepressant... and great for your skin!
Palmarosa essential oil has a sweet, floral aroma that's like a touch of summer on a cold winter's day.
Its light, rosy scent is especially good for relieving depression, apathy and poor concentration.
Use palmarosa to clear your head and steady your thinking when you're feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or anxious.
It's also great to use in aromatherapy diffusers during sickness such as colds and the flu.
Its antiviral and antibacterial properties - and its mood-lifting scent! - make it great for disinfecting sickrooms.
On the skin, plamarosa oil has a balancing effect on oil production, so it's good for both dry and oily skin types.
It also stimulates the formulation of new tissue, so it's great in anti-aging skin care formulas and for scarring, problem skin and wounds.
Palmarosa essential oil is particularly good for candle and soap recipes because its scent is very long lasting.
