Massage Candle Recipe: Vanilla, Lavender, Sandalwood

by Geoffrey
(South Africa)

Firstly, I love your site and your info on massage candles.

I need assistance in combining vanilla, lavender & sandalwood in a massage candle with the vanilla being the main fragrance, the lavender not too strong and the sandalwood just pushing through.

I wan to create a soft sensual relaxing fragrance.
Please can you set me in the right direction with dividing the 30 drops correctly.

Many thanks

Relaxing Vanilla Lavender Candle Scent
by: Kyley

Hi Geoffrey,

That sounds like an awesome blend! I'd suggest 20 drops vanilla, 7 drops lavender and 3 drops sandalwood. I THINK that should do it. You might have to try making one batch, see what you think and then adjust the scent. It's pretty much an experiment until you find the right balance.

So use that as a starting point and go from there. I'd love to hear what you end up with, so please come back to this thread and let me know!

Thanks for writing in, Geoffrey, and best of luck with your delicious scent!
