Making a sand candle - my first and only candlemaking experience

Yes this is true it was many years ago when staying with an Aunt in Nova Scotia, Canada. She had all us kids make our own candle in the sand on the beach. She melted the wax over an open fire then poured it in the holes we dug then when they cooled we dug them out and carved designs in them. Wish I lived on a beach now to make them and add shells.
