Lemongrass essential oil is energizing, strengthening and good for cheering you up.
Botanical Name and CharacteristicsCymbopogon flexuosus
Lemongrass is a fast-growing perennial grass that grows up to five feet (1.5m) high. It has bulbous stems and long sharp, narrow leaves.
Strong, penetrating, herbaceous, fresh, earthy, lemony scent.
BlendingLemongrass essential oil's strong middle note blends well with citrus oils, as well as with chamomile, clary sage, cypress, lavender, palmarosa, sandalwood and vetiver.
CautionsNot appropriate for children. May irritate dry, sensitive or damaged skin. Do not use with glaucoma. Use caution in prostatic hyperplasia.
