Hi, I have just brought some lavender spike essential oil from www.justaromatherapy.co.uk and I really like this oil, as I have only ever used lavender in the past. I am new to aromatherapy, does anybody have any ideas for uses for lavender spike and also what other lavender oils should I try next? Does anyone have any suggestions! Thank you.

lavender spike is good as an insect repellent, good for aches and pains,especially rheumatism, can help with headaches, and cold & flu and catarrh.

you could use it in an oil burner, in a base oil for massage, in a spray for insect repellent or a cold compress for your headaches.

But remember it should be used in a low concentration this is due to the camphor content which is considered neurotoxic.
