This soothing homemade massage oil recipe is designed to support breathing and relax the respiratory system.
Its gentle but powerful formula deeply relaxes your muscles, helping you get a peaceful, quiet night's sleep.
So good you might want to use it even if you don't snore!
Making massage oils for snoring works by relaxing the throat muscles (not to mention the rest of you!)
and reducing or thinning mucus.
Natural snoring remedies such as aromatherapy have been proven to work in clinical trials,
reducing the snoring of over 80% of participants in one study.
Stop Snoring Homemade Massage Oil Recipe
Combine all ingredients in a dark glass or PET plastic bottle. (I recommend using one with an oil or lotion dispenser cap so it's harder to spill.)
Wait at least 24 hours after blending to let the massage oil 'cure'. Remember to keep the bottle in a cool, dark place. Use within three months.
To make a larger amount of this homemade massage oil recipe, depending on the size of the bottle, simply double or triple the recipe. (Just remember - it generally goes rancid after about three months.)
To use, gently rub a little of the massage oil onto the upper chest, neck and the bones behind the ears.
Caution: Lemon essential oil may cause photosensitivity and sunburn.
Do not use before sun exposure. (Which, if you're using it for sleep, should be no problem!)
