Blending Suggestions
by: Kyley

Hi Karen,

Thanks for asking! Here's my suggestions for your blends...

For the ylang and vanilla, try 2 vanilla to 1 ylang. If you're making 2 cups of bath salts, for example, try 3 cups salt, 10 drops vanilla and 5 drops ylang. If the scent is not strong enough, you can go as high as a total of 30 drops per 3 cups of salt.

For the second blend, try 6 drops orange, 2 drops cedarwood and 2 drops ylang as your base blend. That might be too strong with the cedar and ylang, so you might want to try 8 orange and 1 each cedarwood and ylang. You'll have to see what your nose says. Then you can substitute this blend in any of the recipes in whatever proportion the recipe suggests.

Hope that helps - have fun playing with your homemade scents!
