Emulsifying Wax Substitute for Lotion Making

by Morgan
(Austin)

I am looking for a substitute for emulsifying wax - I have read that stearic acid or liquid lecithin could work. I just have not been able to find the appropriate conversions - for example, if a recipe calls for 1/4 cup e-wax, how much stearic acid should I use instead?

Thank you so much!
