Cypress Essential Oil
Calming, cheering, refreshing
Cypress essential oil has a fabulous woody, relaxing scent.
It calms and relaxes you while at the same time sharpening your mental clarity - perfect to use during a long, stressful day.
Cypress is also well known for reducing perspiration, especially of the feet, for clearing up
dandruff and oily skin. Great for skincare recipes!
Cypress oil narrows your blood vessels, so it's good for healing bruises and hemorrhoids, as well as
reducing varicose veins.
Apply a cool compress with a few drops of cypress oil diluted in a tablespoon of carrier oil. You can do this up to three times a day.
Aromatherapists use cypress oil to help calm asthma symptoms as well as dry, ticklish coughs,
bronchitis, emphysema, whooping cough and the flu - basically anything yucky in the lungs.
It's also good for muscle cramps (including period pain) and arthritis pain.

Buy Cypress Essential Oil
Click here to buy cypress essential oil
from Mountain Rose Herbs (scroll a little way down the page; they're in alphabetical order.)
I always recommend Mountain Rose first because I like and trust them.
Their quality is excellent, their prices are good, and many of their essential oils are organic (and all of them are therapeutic grade.)
Or you could
shop for cypress oil
at Amazon. They have a number of different brands available at a variety of prices. (Just remember, you get what you pay for.) Happy hunting!
In terms of recommending suppliers, there's lots of really good suppliers out there, but I keep balking at the price.
I can't in good conscience send you to a supplier whose quality is similar to Mountain Rose but who charges considerably (or even a little) more.
I wouldn't do it myself, and I won't recommend it to you.
Which brings me to another point. A small commmission is sent to Easy-Aromatherapy-Recipes.com each time you buy
from these suppliers by clicking on one of my links to their website.
This makes it possible for me to continue to publish free aromatherapy recipes and other fun stuff for you.
