Clary Sage Essential OilCalming, cheering, balancing hormonal supportClary Sage essential oil calms you down, cheers you up and balances you out. It's an all around great tonic for women, especially for hormonal problems.
Botanical Name and CharacteristicsSalvia sclareaClary sage grows about three feet tall with soft, dusty green leaves. It has lacy pink, white or blue flowers, depending on the variety. The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the flowering tops and the leaves. Sweet, earthy, floral herbaceous scent.
Therapeutic Action
BlendingClary Sage oil's strong middle note blends well with almost every essential oil, but especially well with bergamot, cedar, chamomile, geranium, jasmine, lavender, neroli, orange, rosewood, sandalwood and ylang ylang.
CautionsNon-toxic, non-sensitizing. Do not use during pregnancy or if you have epilepsy. Can be stupefying in large amounts.
