Mixing beeswax with soy wax
by: Kyley

Hi Joe,

I'm not at all sure this would work because soy and beeswax burn at different temperatures. I've also never heard of it being done.

My personal choice would be to keep them separate, partly because each one is so nice on its own. Beeswax has such a lovely smell that you wouldn't want to dilute that honey-sweetness, and soy is great for scenting (although it has a great clean-fresh smell unscented)

All that said, although mixing the waxes is not something I would recommend, it never hurts to experiment. You could try it with one teeny-tiny candle and keep a close eye on it as it burns to see how it turns out (and make sure your house doesn't burn down.)

Hope that helps!
