Aromatherapy recipe for dry cracked heels

I have made this recipe a few times now, and I am finding it very effective.

25g carrot oil
25g calendula oil
27g shea butter
17g cocoa butter
7g beeswax
45g rose geranium hydrosol

up to 18 drops each of cypress, carrot seed, myrrh and benzoin essential oils

into a pyrex bowl all ingredients except the hydrosol, place this over a pan of simmering water and heat until melted.

into another bowl place the hydrosol and heat in microwave until just warm, once all oils have melted remove from heat.

start adding the hydrosol a little at a time, (i find that adding a little and whisking for 2 mins seems to work), when all the hydrosol has all been absorbed stop beating at once.

finally stir in the essential oils and put into a jar, leave in a cool place to set, or alternatively you can add mixture into separate jars without the essential oils this way you can tailor make them each time you need them.

I made a 120ml jar and use a 3% ratio, but you can always use less ratio but no more than this.

my working out is 120 @ 3% ratio
= 30-18, 30-18, 30-18, 10-8 = 60 drops
= 20-12 12 drops
= 60+12 = 72 drops
= 72/4 = 18 drops each of the above essential oils.

You should find that this does not set completely but if it does reduce the cocoa butter and beeswax.
