	Aromatherapy Kitchen Recipes Make your own essential oil homemade cleaners Aromatherapy kitchen recipes for homemade cleaners are simple but effective. Plus, you can often make them with ingredients already in your cupboards. I buy almost no commercial cleaning products at all any more because I'd rather make my own. I know exactly what's in them, I know that they're eco-friendly, and I know they work. Plus you save a ton of money! Here are a few of my favorite aromatherapy kitchen recipes; tried, tested and refined until perfect. Best Aromatherapy Kitchen Counter Cleaner This natural cleaning recipe is completely safe for using on food prep areas, since all of the essential oils are from edible plants. Not only does it kill viruses, bacteria and fungi, but it smells awesome! You don't have to keep it in the kitchen, either. Use it wherever you need to sanitize surfaces (I use mine in the bathroom and for damp-wiping my dining room table.) Quick Links -- Buy Supplies Cinnamon essential oil Clove essential oil Lemon essential oil Orange essential oil Rosemary essential oil Thyme essential oil Ingredients 8 drops Orange essential oil 8 drops Lemon essential oil 4 drops Cinnamon essential oil 4 drops Clove essential oil 4 drops Rosemary essential oil 2 drops Thyme essential oil Directions Put 2 cups of distilled water into a spray bottle. Add the essential oils listed above. Shake before each use to incorporate the oils into the water. Spray onto whatever surface you're disinfecting, then wipe with a damp cloth. Heavy Duty Grease Cutting Cleanser This homemade cleaner recipe gets rid of that sticky, greasy build-up that can accumulate on kitchen walls, cabinets and floors. Also good for any other dirty job you need cleaned up! Ingredients 1/4 cup (30g) Baking Soda 1/2 cup (125ml) white Vinegar 1 teaspoon liquid Dishwashing Soap 30 drops antibacterial essential oil blend Directions Stir together all the ingredients in a bucket of hot water. Rinse with clean water. The baking soda and liquid soap give this recipe extra grease-cutting and deodorizing powers. Plus, along with the essential oils, they also kill germs and bacteria. Buy a good, eco-friendly, unscented liquid dishsoap for sensitive skin. Add 10 drops each of lavender and lemon essential oil for each 4fl oz (125ml) dishwashing liquid. Shake well. Adding lavender and lemon not only makes your dishsoap smell wonderful, but it kills germs and bacteria and helps cut grease. Yummy and effective! (Or make your own homemade dishsoap from scratch.) Natural Homemade Drain Cleaner Use this aromatherapy kitchen recipe once a week to keep your sink free from soap and grease residues that can build up and block your drain.
