Hello, my name is Tiffany. I am a migraine sufferer. I usually take medication but right now I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I need help for migraines and muscle spasms at my neck. If you could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.THE ANSWER
Some good essential oils for migraine that are generally considered safe to use during pregnancy are Lavender, Frankincense, Ginger and Roman Chamomile.
Migraines are tricky, and what works on one person may not work on someone else, or even on the next migraine for the same person.
Here's what I would try if I were you: blend 3 drops Lavender and 1 drop each Roman Chamomile and Ginger in 1/2 teaspoon aromatherapy carrier oil. Lavender and Chamomile relax tesne muscles, and Ginger opens up blood vessels.
At the first sign of a migraine, rub some of the blend on your forehead (avoid your eye area!), the back of your neck and the bones behind your ears. Lie down in a quiet, dark place for 20 minutes to half an hour and then re-apply. Be gentle with yourself for the rest of the day.
You can also try taking 1 drop of Frankincense under your tongue every 1/2 hour or so until the migraine is gone...
But you MUST buy ONLY TOP QUALITY essential oils for this. You do not want to be ingesting a low quality oil that could cotain toxic synthetic fragrances or any other impurities that might harm your baby. Contact me

Tiffany, I really hope those ideas help, and I wish you all the very best with your pregnancy and your new life with a little one :)
