Carrier Oil for Sea Buckthorn
by: Kyley

Hi there,

Jojoba is a good everyday carrier oil, and so is apricot kernel oil. Both of them are moisturizing but absorb better than say, for example, sweet almond oil.

Really, most of the basic carrier oils are good, although a few of the specialized ones should only comprise up to 10 percent of the recipe (like sea buckthorn, actually.)

Grapeseed oil is generally used for oily skin, so I wouldn't use it on legs, and I don't like the way olive oil makes a lotion feel "tacky". But that's just my two cents!

Check out the carrier oils page for some more ideas...
